Level 3 Pole and Aerial Hoop instructor 

We have put together what we believe to be a very comprehensive and detailed training course for learners ready to teach Advanced. The aim of which is to give you the best skills and student understanding to excel in your teaching.  UIT qualification is accredited by NCFE as a (CQ) and our pole training is PDC approved.  Over two days 12 + TQT hours, we will recap: Legalities, students and their needs, body works. Warmups and cool downs, then cover students training plans, advanced pole moves combos and break downs

. Lots of Spotting and their applications, regressions and progressions how to know your students are ready to progress along with conditioning. This course is classroom and studio based, with more time spent on the practical side aiming to give you everything you need to be a confident advanced instructor with great knowledge.

How you are assessed

Over the two days training your trainer will be monitoring as part of your overall assessment. You will be asked to answer questions on topics covered and take part in a practical assessment this will consist of you teaching 3 Hoop/ Pole  moves to a class 2 you have chosen and 1 the trainer picks, the trainer will ask you to move on to the next move on your list as soon as they have seen all the markers needed. Time of the individual assessment can be form 5 to 15 mins, warm ups cold downs are done outside of this assessment.      

Pre-requisite

been doing pole/ aerial hoop for 24 months. 

Have a Beginners Intermediate pole/aerial hoop instructor certification in place.

Good advanced level of pole/aerial hoop. 

Be 18 years old plus

Level 3 Hoop moves covered

(Skin cat  Inside out splits), Choker slide down

Scarab drop, Russian mount, Full shoulder stand 

Single scarab (both   arm variations), Full back balance

Full mill wheel, Tombé


Poisson/elbow as   roll prep

Clothesline on strop

Strop superman/ swan   dive

Cross knee release   on strop/ bow and arrow

 Pole level 3 we do not expect all moves to be done but will show how to support your student, and yourself with them.
